The categories of data we use and the purposes pursued through the use of this data are described below. As far as possible, you will also find information on the storage period of the respective data.
Each time this website is accessed, access data is stored in a log file, the server log. The data record stored in this log file contains the following information: Date and time of access, IP address, session ID, accessed website, name of the website from which the website was accessed and information about the browser used.
We evaluate these log files only in the event of misuse of our website. We reserve the right to subsequently check the log files of those users about whom there is a concrete suspicion of using our website in violation of the law and/or the contract. In general, we cannot attribute these data to a specific person. These data are used by us in order to provide the web shop and to support you, as a customer or interested party of our company. As a rule, such data will be stored for six months after use of the web shop (erasure of the customer account) ends.
If you place an order in the web shop, we will collect any additional delivery addresses for this purpose and other data provided by you that are necessary for the processing of the order. We store such data for up to six months after the end of the customer relationship.
If personal master data or order data are also used in our accounting system, such data will be stored until the end of the prescribed periods (generally 7 years in Austria) on the basis of the statutory retention obligations applicable to us.
If you have given us your consent during registration or at a later time, we will use the data resulting from your use of the web shop or the website, such as the web pages you have accessed, the time spent on individual web pages and the products you have viewed as well as your previous demand interests, in order to optimise customer service and to be able to provide you with customised information. If you have agreed to receive a newsletter, we will use your name and e-mail address, your gender, address, company and industry sector, as well as language, for the delivery and personalisation of such a newsletter. These data are used for the duration of the subscription to the respective newsletter.

Alfred Felder assumed the function of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zumtobel Group AG with effect from 8 June 2018. He is appointed until 31 July 2025. Previously, he had been Acting President of the Executive Board since 1 February 2018.
Alfred Felder joined the lighting group in November 2012. As CEO of Tridonic he was initially responsible for the Zumtobel Group’s components business. From April 2016 until January 2018, Alfred Felder assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Management Board of the Zumtobel Group. Felder holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering and previously held a wide range of specialist and management roles with the Siemens Group and its former lighting arm, Osram. In the course of his career he has spent several longer periods in Japan, the US and China. From 2007 to 2012 his activities focused of the sale of semiconductors and luminaires, primarily in Asia.

Effective 1 August 2021, Thomas Erath assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on the Management Board of the Zumtobel Group AG. He is appointed until 30 September 2027.
Thomas Erath graduated in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration in 1997. He is a certified public accountant and tax consultant, who started his career at Arthur Andersen Wirtschaftsprüfungs-GmbH in Vienna. In 2001, the Vorarlberg-born joined the Zumtobel Group, where he held various management positions for twelve years. With experience as CFO in the textile and automotive industries, he joined the lighting group again in May 2018. As CFO/Vice President Finance & Controlling, he has since been responsible for all related topics in the Components Segment. Mr. Erath was also interim CEO of Tridonic for a period of more than one year.

Effective 1 November 2022, Marcus Frantz assumed the role of Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDTO) as part of the Management Board of the Zumtobel Group AG. He is appointed until 31 October 2025.
Marcus Frantz studied economics and business administration at the Universities of Konstanz and Trier in Germany. He began his professional career as a project manager at various international consulting companies. His focus was the development of the organisation and human resources as well as IT strategies in the segments of financial services and energy supply. In 2004, he moved to OMV and, in addition to operational IT management with the harmonisation of the IT application landscape and the implementation of a global IT service centre, he was responsible for the strategic agendas of the OMV Group which includes Petrom and Petrol Ofisi from 2013 onwards as the Group CIO. Since April 2017, Marcus Frantz has been the CIO of ÖBB, where he was responsible for the development and coordination of the digital business strategy and the strategic orientation of IT/OT in the group.

Bernard Motzko took over the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the Management Board of Zumtobel Group AG with effect from 1 February 2018. He is appointed until 30 September 2026.
Bernard Motzko studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at the University of Paderborn, completing his doctorate in 1994. After holding a variety of positions in the production sector, in 1997 Motzko made his first major career move to join Siemens Nixdorf (now Diebold-Nixdorf), a manufacturer of checkout systems, kiosk systems and automated teller machines. Here he was initially responsible for the Paderborn plant, before assuming a global management role in the production and supply chain sector in 2003. Here he focused primarily on rolling out uniform methods and processes, as well as optimising the production network by setting up plants in Brazil and China.

Following her MBA studies at the University of Fribourg, Ms. Zumtobel-Chammah initially held several senior management positions in the finance sector before joining the Zumtobel Group in 1996. She most recently held the position of Head of Art & Culture, where she was responsible for the Group’s art and culture activities.

Since 18 May 2020, Dr Ing. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen is a member and first Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zumtobel Group AG. He is appointed until the Annual General Meeting for the 2026/27 financial year.
Georg Pachta-Reyhofen was born in 1955 and studied mechanical and process engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, where he received his doctorate in 1985. Since 2018, Pachta-Reyhofen has been an independent consultant with an excellent technical and strategical expertise, supporting technology companies, among others, on their way through transformation. From 2006 to 2015 he held various executive board positions at MAN SE, Germany, including CEO of MAN Diesel, CEO of MAN Truck & Bus and most recently CEO on the Group Executive Board of MAN SE. Prior to this, Mr. Pachta-Reyhofen held various management positions at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG.

Christian Beer has joined the Supervisory Board of the Zumtobel Group AG on 24 July 2020. He is appointed until the Annual General Meeting for the 2024/25 financial year.
Christian Beer was born in Bregenz in 1961. After graduating from the HTL Bregenz, he began his professional career in 1981 at Grass GmbH. In 1988, Christian Beer founded the Heron Sondermaschinenbau GmbH, which focused its original core business on the development and construction of automatic assembly machines. Since then, Mr. Beer has been managing partner of the Heron Group in Dornbirn. In the years from 1995 to 2020 he founded various companies such as Robotunits GmbH with branches in the USA, Great Britain, Australia and Italy, Heron CNC Technik GmbH, Servus Intralogistics GmbH and, most recently, SAFEDI Distance Control.

Mr. Hofmann has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 21 July 2017 and since 18 May 2020 second Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board Chairman of Zumtobel Group AG. His term of office extends up to the Annual General Meeting for the 2024/25 financial year.
Dr. Volkhard Hofmann was born on 23 October 1952. After acquiring his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at Cologne University, he joined the Boston Consulting Group as a consultant in 1982 and was elected Partner and Managing Director in the minimum period of six years. During his time with the Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Hofmann founded and headed different practice groups and additionally held numerous international management positions.
Mr. Hofmann has regularly advised the Zumtobel Group on a wide range of projects during the past 20 years.

Eva Kienle joined the Supervisory Board of the Zumtobel Group AG on 26 July 2019 and is appointed until the Annual General Meeting for the 2025/26 financial year.
Ms. Kienle was born in 1967 and is a business studies graduate and qualified bank clerk. In addition to her MBA, she has extensive experience in the industry relevant to her activities in the Supervisory Board. Apart from her current position as CFO at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA, this includes other executive board mandates in companies with a private equity shareholder base.

Since 18 May 2020, Prof. Dr Thorsten Staake is a member of the Zumtobel Group AG’s supervisory board. He is appointed until the Annual General Meeting for the 2026/27 financial year.
Thorsten Staake was born in 1978. He obtained several academic degrees, including a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the USA, a Dipl. Ing. in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Technical University in Darmstadt and ultimately received his doctorate in Technology Management from the University of St. Gallen in 2007. Since 2013, Mr. Staake has been a university professor at the University of Bamberg, where he is Chairman of the Chair of Information Systems and Energy Efficient Systems. Prior to that, he was Co-Director of the Bits to Energy Laboratory at the Chair of Information Management at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich.

Mr. Apnar was delegated to the Supervisory Board of Zumtobel Group AG by the Employees‘ Council for Wage Employees in June 2012.
He was born in Lustenau, Austria, in 1974 and started his apprenticeship as a plastics engineer with Zumtobel Lighting GmbH in 1990. After the completion of his professional examinations in 1993, he worked in production up to 2008 and then transferred to the supply chain organisation of the Zumtobel Group. In September 2012 Mr. Apnar took over the position as Chairman of the Employees‘ Council for Wage Employees at Zumtobel Lighting GmbH.

Effective 24 July 2015, Mr. Dietmar Dünser was delegated to the Supervisory Board of Zumtobel Group AG by the Works Council of salaried employees.
Dietmar Dünser was born in Bludenz, Austria in 1966. He joined the Zumtobel Group in 1986 and initially worked in electronics development. Since then his career has taken him into marketing and product management, technical sales, customer complaints and control gear quality compliance. From 1997-2002 Mr. Dünser took a part-time degree course in Exports and International Management at the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), which he concluded with a Master’s degree in Business and Management. In 2015 he took on the role of Quality and Risk Management Engineer at Zumtobel Lighting GmbH.
Mr. Dünser has been a member of the works council since 1999 and an active member since 2005. In April 2015 he was elected Chairman of the Works Council of Zumtobel Group AG, Zumtobel Pool GmbH, Zumtobel Insurance Management GmbH, ZG Lighting Austria GmbH, ZG Lighting CEE GmbH and Zumtobel Lighting GmbH.

Isabel Kreilhuber was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Zumtobel Group AG by the Employees‘ Council of Tridonic in April 2021.
Born in Dornbirn, Austria in 1977, Ms. Kreilhuber joined Tridonic in March 2000 as part of the internal sales team. After concluding her extra-occupational studies in international business management at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Science, Isabel Kreilhuber switched to the company’s global supply chain operations in 2006. In 2016, she assumed the position of Head of Global Supply Chain Planning. Together with her team, Isabel Kreilhuber is responsible for the global planning processes of Tridonic GmbH & Co. KG.
